THREE OAKS — The Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce will perform a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, to kick off the Grand Opening of Froehlich’s Kitchen and Pantry in downtown Three Oaks.

The new full-service restaurant, event space and beverage boutique is located in a renovated historic building at 19 N. Elm St. The public is invited to cut the ribbon, take a tour, enjoy food samples and place an order from a menu designed to be simple, fresh and wholesome.

This expansion of the well-known Froehlich’s brand is located directly across the street from the original deli and bakery.

Artisan breads, pies, pastries, unique desserts and special occasion cakes will continue to be offered at the original location at 26 N. Elm Street, soon to be re-named Froehlich’s Bakery.

The Froehlich’s Kitchen and Pantry restaurant serves lunch and dinner while the deli offers homemade pantry items, specialty foods and a carry-out with a market-vibe on the first floor.

An upstairs event space upstairs, 19 North, is available for weddings and celebrations with seating up to 399 guests. Expansive windows spread light on the antique plastered walls and original tin ceiling. A bridal suite, catering kitchen and private event entry with elevator provide the elements for hosting any occasion.

Colleen Froehlich, who opened her first location 27 years ago, instills her passion for her food products at all of the Froehlich’s locations, believing that “When you follow your purpose it all comes together. You have to use your gifts and I was lucky to recognize mine very early on.”
