HARBERT — Eight Harbor Country artists opened their private studios for an exclusive tour to benefit the Michiana Humane Society on Saturday, Oct. 16. All proceeds from the event will support the shelter and the 1,000-plus animals that will be cared for in 2021.

The self-guided tour provided opportunities to visit with artists, view their work, and get a behind the scenes glimpse into the creating process. Participating studios included Keek Bielby (including works from Black Tree Studios), Elizabeth Coyne, Bob “Vincent” Gildo, Tim Hall, Ken Neumann, Brian Overley, Louise Pappageorge, and Thomas Allen Pauly. Art mediums include sculpture, woodworking, painting and design.

A cocktail party followed the tours at Judith Racht Gallery in Harbert.
