NEW BUFFALO — The New Buffalo Business Association hostED the 15th Annual New Buffalo Harvest & Wine Festival on Saturday, Oct. 9, in downtown New Buffalo along Whittaker Street between Merchant and Mechanic streets.
Family-friendly activities included nonstop live music, unique art and makers vendors, farm market vendors, award-winning wines from Southwest Michigan, local beer and hard cider, tasty fare from area restaurants and food trucks, pumpkin painting, and kids games with prizes.
Participating wineries included Domaine Berrien Cellars, Lemon Creek Winery, St. Julian Winery, Round Barn Estate, Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant, Dablon Vineyards, Journeyman Distillery (OCG), Wyncroft Marland Wine, and Hickory Creek Winery.
There were beers on tap from favorites including Haymarket Taproom, North Pier Brewing Company, Watermark Brewing Company, Tapistry Brewing, Round Barn Brewery & Public House (along with ciders from Peat's Cider, Social Virtue Cider, and Forbidden Fruit).
Live music was provided by The 1985 (“the raddest 80s retro band in the Midwest”), Gerry Hundt Trio, Top Secret Band, and the Edgar Willbury Experience.
