James Raymond Wiedenman

BUCHANAN — James Raymond Wiedenman, 61, Buchanan MI. left this earth to meet Jesus Christ, face to face, on February 11, 2021.

He was born on September 24, 1959 in Michigan City, IN. 

After attending New Buffalo area schools, Jim  had 2 careers. He was first employed as a track worker (gandy dancer) on the CSX Railroad, New Buffalo, MI. He later became a Rural Carrier at the Bridgman Post Office.

He married Carol VanDerAa on June 6, 1981. They enjoyed raising their 3 sons Jim, Abel and Jason, together. As a family they enjoyed little league baseball (coach)  swimming, hiking, cub scouts (den leader), doberman dogs, cats, family vacations, and many good times. 

Jim enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, Chevy trucks, GTO cars, swap meets, hiking & deer & arrowhead hunting, auctions, and a good deal. He was kind hearted and willing to go the extra mile. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Dorothy (Kucera) Wiedenman. Jim is survived by his sons, James the 2nd (II), Abel, and Jason Wiedenman, and their Mother, (Carol, his best friend). He is also survived by his siblings Bonnie, Mike, and Joyce Wiedenman. 

Some of Jim's final words to his family and friends were, "This is NOT Goodbye, but until we meet again."
