3 25 Obit Pic Arnold

BRIDGMAN — Ruth Ann Arnold - December 4, 1955 - Was reunited with her sister Cathy on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

“Ruthie” as she was known to anybody who knew her, spent most of her life in Southwest Michigan, the majority of that time in Bridgman.

Ruthie enjoyed escaping home on the weekends and Michigan in the winter. Sometimes in a Camper on an inland lake or traveling south for the winter. Ruthie had a flare for words, sharp wit, and an always welcoming ear. She was also known to “let ya have it” but only if you deserved it. Despite any problem’s Ruthie never stopped trying to see the trees of green and the skies of blue, of our wonderful world.

She will be remembered fondly in places with names like Caper’s, Port o Call, Connie’s, and Tosi’s. All places she developed lifelong relationships as a hard worker and friend.

She is survived by her Husband of 37 years, Bill; her son, Michael and daughter in law Maya; her fur baby Lil’ Willie; grandson Massimo and granddaughter Naima; a large family of sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews. Also a handful of her son’s friends and her own who called her “Ma”, and her “family” down at the American Legion Post 331, of which she was an active and supporting member.

Cremation will take place and arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Online condolences may be made at www.hovenfunerals.com.
