SOUTH HAVEN — Sandra Lee Weinert, 76, of South Haven, passed away October 15, 2020, at home under hospice care following a two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer.

She was born February 13, 1944, to Kenneth and Minnie (Days) Stick in Michigan City, IN. Sandy graduated from New Buffalo High School in 1963 and was crowned Miss New Buffalo that year. She married James Weinert on October 12, 1968, in New Buffalo, MI.

Sandy was a devoted stay at home mom, wife, and grandmother, and was “Mom” to her children’s friends and known as “The Baker."

Sandy’s passion was riding her motorcycle and moped with her husband, playing games, crocheting, and working outside in her yard.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother – Danny Stick.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 52 years, two children, seven grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
