Our 5th annual Public Safety Day 2022 was a huge success!!

The New Buffalo Township Fire Department hosted this fun, family event and it gets better every year! We’d like to thank the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office, Berrien County Sheriff Marine Division, Medic 1 and the Pokagon Band Tribal Police for showing kids their equipment and for all the games and giveaways. Thanks to Pepsi for donating water.

A big thank you to the Pokagon Fund for sponsoring our School Supply Giveaway, along with Horizon Bank and TCU. Thank you to First Responders Children’s Foundation for donating balls, Bombas socks and hand sanitizer. Thank you to Sara Mead and Susan Seifert and other NB Elementary School teachers for organizing and working the School Supply Giveaway. They are amazing volunteers! Thanks to Horizon Bank and TCU for volunteering with the giveaway also.

Chief Flick and his firefighters are always eager to do whatever they can for our community. Whether it’s teaching fire safety and playing games with kids or showing them fire equipment and sitting in a dunk tank, we are very fortunate to have this amazing group of people!

We’ll see everyone again next year!
