BRIDGMAN — The Bridgman High School women’s varsity basketball team won a Saturday afternoon, Jan. 28, matinee contest against New Buffalo by a 53-18 score.
Tatyanna Hill paced the Bees with 21 points while Kaylee Scheffler-Schebel added 13.
Ava Mancini scored 5 points for the Bison.
Hill tallied six points in the first quarter while Emily Howell scored 4 and Ava Starbuck sank a shot to push Bridgman on top 12-3. Hill scored six more points early in the second period to help push the margin to 20-3.
The Bees topped Lawton 34-17 on Jan. 31 to go 14-1. Hill scored 20 points while Elise Schmaltz scored 10.
