GRAND BEACH — The Bridgman High School golf team won its fourth straight BCS White Division Jamboree on May 4 at the Grand Beach course (the meet was hosted by New Buffalo).

Team scores were – 1. Bridgman 195, 2. Lake Michigan Catholic 217, 3. New Buffalo 247, 4. River Valley 277, 5. Howardsville Christian 278.

Scoring for the Bees were: Maura Killips 43; Hunter Ives 50; Ryan Anderson 50; TJ DeMeulenaere 52; Dillon Backus 52; and Weston Busick 55.

LMC was led by Connor Shooks 44; Chas LaSata 47; Jake Jozwiak 62; and Andrew Glotzbach 64.

Other team totals were:

New Buffalo – Bodee Davis 53; Evan Messinger 61; Ethan Moser 64; Evan Spriggs 69.

River Valley – Aiden Bettig 58; Hunter Lynch 70, Jayden Witter 71; Dori Formichetti 78; Haley Goodenough 78.

On April 28 at Chikaming Country Club (a jamboree hosted by River Valley) the team scores were: Bridgman 204; LMC 218; New Buffalo 261; Howardsville 328; River Valley 336.

Killips had the individual top score of 49.

Bridgman has a 20-16 lead over LMC with one jamboree to go (first place nets 5 points, second place 4 and third place 3). The Bees have placed first in all four meets so far with the Lakers second each time.

New Buffalo is in third with 12 points while River Valley is one point ahead of Howardsville (6-5).
